In the age of science and technology, it is now possible to grow a chicken in a petri dish. In 1974, Auerbach et al., described a method which permits the growth of chicken embryos in petri dishes from the third to the 20th day of incubation published in Developmental Biology. Scalding (1981) also published an article showed how to culture chicken in petri dishes.
